Terms & Conditions

1. Rental hours are inclusive of set-up, preparation, strike and tear down. The Colossal Studio will provide a grace period of 15mins after the booking time ends, and client is responsible for returning all equipment, furniture, washing any used cutlery, cups glasses etc back to the original locations. The Colossal Studio will then proceed to disinfect and clean the entire studio, for any studio tours etc that we'll be having in the later part of evening.

2. The studio may be used for legal business activities only. No smoking and no consumption of alcohol within the premise. Smoking is only allowed at Level 10, Level 5 or Level 1 of the building. Renter must clear all ashes, cigarette butts, cigarette boxes and make-shift ashtrays before leaving the premise.

3. In the event of a booking cancellation, only a 50% refund will be provided to the renter within 3 working days. No further refunds will be provided.

4. In the event of a booking postponement, an additional $200 will be charged for every postponement, and renter is to select a new date on which The Colossal Studio is available.

5. The Colossal Studio operates between 1000hrs to 2200hrs. Renter must adhere to The Colossal Studio’s operational hours unless discussed and agreed upon beforehand.

6. In the event of an overrun, additional charges will be applicable. A grace period of 15 minutes will be provided after the end of each booking for renter to make his/her leave from the studio premises.

7. Be present at all times during the rental. Ensure your valuables are not left unattended.

8. Keep the shoot, event or session contained within the studio. Do not disrupt or obstruct other tenants of the building.

9. Maintain adult supervision of minors at all times.
   
   STUDIO & EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED

10. The Colossal Studio agrees to provide the studio in good working order but makes no special guarantee on studio’s appropriateness for Renter’s purposes.

11. For the Lifestyle Studio booking, the Renter is entitled to use & film the entire studio (as per booked), and allowed to move furniture, plants, accessories & any other items in the studio at the time of rental only.

12. For the Studio Booking, the Renter is only entitled to film & work within the cyclorama and not filming is to be done in the lifestyle area. Renter is also not allowed to move & use any furniture in the lifestyle studio (with the exception of bar stools). An additional charge of $150 is required if renter requires to use furniture for a Studio only booking.

13. The Colossal Studio is not liable for acts out of its control that affects the shoot, such as power outage, disruption due to weather, emergencies of any kind or any and all Acts of God.

14. The Colossal Studio is also not liable & responsible in controlling any noise/sound disruption from other tenants/persons/machinery/vehicles in the building and/or adjacent buildings and areas.
    
    DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT, FURNITURE, OR STUDIO

15. Renter agrees to return all equipment, studio, and furniture in the condition it was provided and to immediately notify representatives of The Colossal Studio of any damage, failure or change in equipment provided. Please do not drag any furniture, equipment or amenity across the studio’s floor or cyclorama.

16. In the event of any furniture (inclusive and not limited to; countertops, mirrors, curtains, blinds, vases stands, carpets, refrigerator, tables, chairs, stools) being damaged or stained, a repair, reupholstery, or replacement fee will be charged depending on the damage.

17. Renter agrees to pay for any repair or replacement costs of equipment, furniture, or studio that Renter damages within 3 business days. In the event that the Renter’s employees, Renter’s contractors, Renter's clients, or any and all Renter's visitors damage any equipment or studio, Renter agrees to pay for any repairs or replacements necessary within 3 business days.

18. In the event of the cyclorama being damaged or stained, a repair & repainting fee of $300 will be charged.

19. In the event of a plant being damaged, a flat fee of $100 will be charged per plant.

20. Renter agrees to leave the studio in the condition it was found, or a SGD 300 cleaning fee will be imposed. It is Renter’s responsibility to ensure that rented items are in good working condition from the initial day of rental.

21. The Renter agrees that The Colossal Studio holds no liability for any damage or injury caused by use of rental items to Renter or any third party. The Renter assumes all risk of personal property damage or personal injury. If any accident involving The Colossal Studio's rental items has occurred while it is in the Renter's possession, Renter shall make The Colossal Studio aware by written statement of details of occurrence of event including police report and names and addresses of witnesses, if applicable.

22. Clear trash or other items on premises prior to leaving. Empty studio’s trash bins before leaving.

23. Ensure the kitchen area is clean and dry at all times. In the event of a shoot involving food and beverage as props, please submit a list of products and/or ingredients for The Colossal Studio guide on pantry management and F&B disposal.

24. SGD 50 will be charged for any lost or damaged access cards. Renter will be given 2 access for the duration of rental.
    
    LIABILITY

25. Renter agrees to submit a signed Liability Release in the form of a name list of production team inclusive of all persons that will be on the premise prior to Renter’s use of The Colossal Studio.

26. The Colossal Studio will not be held liable for any injuries or accidents to the Renter, Renter’s employees, Renter’s contractors, Renter's clients, or any and all of Renter's visitors that occur within or outside the studio premises.
    

27. Use of the studio requires the following in advance:
    
    • This Studio Rental Agreement
    • Payment in Full
    • Name List of Production Team and all attending persons at The Colossal Studio, signed by Renter

28. The Colossal Studio may be used beyond the purpose of a photography or videography studio, including such activities, as are necessary and usually incidental to such use like an event or rehearsal space.

29. The Colossal Studio shall have the right to inspect the equipment, studio, and furniture at any time during the rental term. Renter shall make any and all arrangements necessary to permit a representative(s) of The Colossal Studio to access to the equipment and studio during rental hours (Studio Manager & Assistant).

30. If a breach of any of the provisions of the Rental Agreement occurs, The Colossal Studio has the right to revoke Renter's access to the equipment and studio without any liability to and without prejudice to The Colossal Studio, the right to receive rent due or accrued to and including date of revocation.

31. Upon agreeing to these terms of service, I hereby declare that I have read all of the above and fully understand and agree to strictly adhere to each section.
